Oral Presentation

The conference aims to engage participants in meaningful sessions to explore scientific advancements. To ensure the success of each session, speakers are kindly requested to adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Time Allocation

Notes：
  • Each time slot includes 2–5 minutes for Q&A/discussion and technical preparation.
  • Presenters must arrive in the online session room before their scheduled time and complete their presentation within the allotted time.
  • The session chair will provide a 3-minute warning prior to the end of the presentation.
  • Commercial advertisements are strictly prohibited during presentations.
2. Presentation Preparation
The following equipment and software will be available in each session room:
  • Laptop with Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 Pro (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Adobe Reader
  • LCD projector and screen
  • Laser pointer and microphone
Presentation Requirements:
  • Slides must be in PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF format.
  • Content should include figures, tables, and visuals—plain text slides are discouraged.
  • Presenters should bring their presentation file on a USB drive and upload it to the session laptop at least 15 minutes before the session begins.
  • Please confirm with the Session Chair before the session starts that your file is ready and displays correctly.
3. Speaker Standards
Attire: Speakers are strongly encouraged to wear business-appropriate attire.
Expertise: Presenters should possess strong knowledge of their subject matter to effectively engage the audience and respond to questions.
Delivery: Effective presentation skills and time management are essential. We encourage speakers to rehearse in advance to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to time limits.
No Commercial Promotion: Presentations must remain academic and technical; commercial advertising is not permitted.

4. Best Oral Presentation Award
  • One Best Oral Presentation will be selected per session.
  • To be eligible, please ensure your Paper ID (e.g., ABS**) is clearly displayed on either the first or last slide of your presentation.
  • The winner will receive a complimentary registration for the next ABS Conference.
5. Attendance and Cancellation Policy
To assist with session coordination, if you are unable to attend or need to cancel your presentation, please notify the conference secretariat as early as possible at: abs@absconf.org
